The communication methods in iCare can be grouped into these categories:
- SMS
- Lobby Messages
- Lobby Questions
- Instant Chat
- School Calendar
- Incident Reports
- Journal
- Photos
- Profile Page Sticky Notes (private for admin only... no parent access)
These methods support one or more of the following functions:
- Individual or batch sends
- Delivery status - delivered, opened or clicked
- Manual or automated notifications (as alerts)
- Attachments
- Saving and editing templates
EMAILS: Individual or batch sends... allows attachments... add or edit templates... delivery (open/click) status report... email ID validation to prevent SPAM flagging.
SMS: Individual or batch sends... delivery (open/click) report... FREE... requires mobile carrier names.
LOBBY MESSAGES: One-way messaging... delivered upon check-in.
LOBBY QUESTIONS: Question delivered up check-in... multiple
