How can admin/teacher use Notes/Activities in Journal?
Notes/Activities: A record of what children did throughout the day, with the date and time of the event.
Click on the “Journal” dropdown in the left navigation panel, and you can see the three options: Notes/Activities, Curriculum, and Lesson Plan.
Select Notes/ Activities. The Notes/Activities dashboard will open.
Notes/Activities dashboard:
This dashboard contains all entered notes/activities. You can filter them based on:
- Children
- Activity
- Day
Admin can also download photos/videos and delete notes/activities.
Add new Notes/Activity:
Select Notes/Activities and click on Add Activities. You will get a list of activities.
Select the Activity. You will get the option to select the children or a particular program/class. Select the child and click on next.
Complete all the details. Admin/Teacher can also upload photos if required. Click on Save Note.
There are a few Activities where you can add sub-categories.
Learning:
After selecting "Children," click on "Add Activities."
Either select from the list of sub-categories or add according to your requirement.
To add a new category, click on Add Category.
Enter the name of the category and save it.
After saving the category, Shut down the category window, and on the learning window, enter all the details, select the category from the drop-down, add notes, upload photos if required, and click on save.
Observation:
After selecting Children, click on Add milestone.
Select the learning framework, domains, and milestones, and click on Add Milestone.
After adding milestones, select the progress of each child from the drop-down.
Add a note if any and click on Save note.
