Risk Assessment in iCare
Overview
The Risk Assessment feature in iCare helps determine the appropriate enrollment type for a child based on their individual support and care needs.
The Risk Assessment score is calculated from the information provided by parents through User-Defined Fields (UDFs). These UDFs help the childcare provider understand the level of support or care the child may require.
Based on the calculated score, iCare determines a corresponding support level. This level is then displayed as the Enrollment Type on the child's profile.
How Risk Assessment Works
The Risk Assessment process follows these steps:
- Log in to your iCare account.
- Navigate to the Child Profile page.
- Scroll down to the UDF section.
- Complete all UDFs related to Support Assessment based on the information provided by the parent.
- iCare calculates the Risk Assessment score based on the selected options.
- Based on the score, iCare determines the child's support level.
- The determined support level is displayed in the child's Enrollment Type on the Child Profile page.
Understanding the Assessment
The information entered in the Support Assessment UDFs provides an indication of how much additional support or care a child may need. The resulting Risk Assessment score helps the childcare provider identify the appropriate enrollment type for the child.
Note: The Risk Assessment score and support level are determined automatically based on the configured UDF options and their associated scoring.
