How does the prorated calculation work for monthly bills? Is it based on number of calendar-days in the month or number of working days?

Prorated Charge: A prorated charge is posted if the Next Billing Date of a billing entry is in the middle of the billing period.

  1. Prorated bills are calculated when the Start/End Date of a Program/Class is in the middle on the month.
  2. Prorated bills are also charged when the Next Billing Date of an entry is in the middle of the month.
  3. Charges of the prorated bills are based on the number of Working-days in the week/month.

  • A Caution-mark has been introduced in the Billing Grid of the application. When a billing entry is prorated the Caution-icon appears in the Date field that is affecting the calculations.

  • Click on the Caution-icon to set the period you wish to prorate the bills for and to apply these changes to the selected child or all children.
