Release Note – Version 1.9.6

(March, 2018 – April, 2018)

Admin Role

 NOTE: My Account page is under development and will remain disabled for a short period of time.

 Enhancements:

  1. Programs/Classes (P/Cs) column has been added on the Attendance page. And, this change reflects in all the secondary attendance reports as well.
  2. Add Charges or Credits function under Action menu has been modified. A list of Descriptions and Account Type has been added in the drop-downs.
  3. Updating a billing entry on the Billing Grid has been enhanced. Now, you may only change the Start Date, Next Billing Date of the bills that have not been charged. Once charged, Start Date and Next Billing Date cannot be edited.
  4. Chat feature has been modified. The User-interface (UI) has been enhanced for a better usability. Push notification on left-navigation bar to notify unread chat messages has been introduced.
  5. User-defined Fields (UDFs) have been added under Grid Settings in Printing Toolbar on Children and Balances page.
  6. Immunization Details report has been introduced.
  7. Immunization Summary report has been added.
  8. Time Clock data with Signatures from the Lobby has been introduced. This report shows the in & out signature of the contacts.
  9. Alert icon has been introduced in the Direct Deposit report for users whose Wallet IDs are not set.
  10. We are developing My Account page and this feature will be disabled till it is tested and stabilized thoroughly. We apologies for the inconveniences faced.
  11. Age column in Waiting List Report has been added for better usability.

 Bug Fixes

 General

  1. Logging in to the application was giving an unexpected error. Login is now working fine.
  2. On adding a sibling to a child, main contact was not setting for the sibling.
  3. Design issue on editing a transaction entry on Child Ledger has been resolved.
  4. Clicking on the Attendance and Center Capacity blocks on Dashboard was giving an unexpected error.
  5. Deleting a child was not responding. Delete function is now working fine.
  6. Issuing refund from transactions page for saved Wallet IDs was giving an unexpected error.
  7. Multiple Admins were not able to log in to the application simultaneously.
  8. Application passwords were not resetting for a few user accounts. Issue has been resolved.
  9. Few pages of the application were not responding on web browsers other than Google Chrome. We are constantly working on improving the responsiveness of the application.
  10. On hitting enter in the Send Email function under Action menu was not moving the cursor to the next line, on almost all pages.

 Children

  1. Updating a transaction entry on Child Profile Ledger was not saving the changes.
  2. On Child Profile page, editing fields in the UDFs section was not responding.
  3. Search box on Children page was giving an unexpected error.
  4. Deactivating a child from Children page was not responding for a few user accounts.
  5. Duplicate Lobby Passwords (LPs) were generated for multiple families and staff. LPs are now unique for every user per center.
  6. Editing contact information on Child Profile page was not saving the changes.
  7. On Children page, LPs that were not set were displaying invalid string, ‘Bad Data’, in the LP column.
  8. On Child Profile page, Work Phone and Home Phone fields were accepting large numbers and was giving an unexpected error on saving.
  9. Adding secondary contacts on Child Profile Page was not adding the contacts successfully.
  10. Adding an existing contact on Child Profile page was giving an unexpected error while searching the existing contact.
  11. Editing children schedule was giving an unexpected error.

 Staff

  1. Editing Staff information on Staff Profile page was not updating the info on saving. Information is now saving correctly.

 Programs/Classes

  1. Program/Class (P/C) Capacity issues for a few user accounts where capacity was 0 and online enrollment was not possible for parents has been resolved.
  2. Few inactive and deleted children were appearing as enrolled children on P/C details page.
  3. On Enrollments page, the number of entries in the grid and crystal report were not equal. Now, the number of entries match.

 Attendance

  1. Filter buttons on Attendance page were not responding correctly.
  2. Inline editing on Attendance page was giving an unexpected error.
  3. Naming Convention on Attendance page has been changed back to [Last Name] [Comma] [First Name]
  4. Batch check-in was not checking-in the children. Bath check-in is now responding fine.

 Accounting

  1. Balances page was displaying inactive kids with $0 balance. Now, only children (active or inactive) with a Running Balance are displayed on the Balances page.
  2. On editing a billing entry, it was not posting correctly.
  3. Viewing the details of a transaction entry on Transaction page was giving an unexpected error.
  4. Few cash payments were declined. Payments are now processing fine.
  5. Approval and Status fields on Payment Confirmation receipt were appearing for Cash and Check payments also.
  6. Issues in posting check payments for Subsidy payers have been taken care of.
  7. Batch payment was not processing for a few user accounts. Batch payments are now processing fine.
  8. For check payments, the Check number and date were not appearing in the Payment Confirmation Receipt.
  9. ‘Preview Bill’ function was not responding for a few rate-chart based accounts.
  10. Advanced Filtering was not responding on filtering more than one column on Transactions page.
  11. Wrong bills were being charged for a few payers. Billing is now running accurately.
  12. Multiple recurring payments were being charged for a few payers even after their Direct Deposit (DD) was terminated. DDs are now processing fine.
  13. Issues with monthly billing have been resolved.
  14. Using Single Payment Form (SPF) for subsidy accounts on Transactions and Billing Grid was not responding correctly. SPF is now responding fine.

 Journal

  1. Selecting children from the Selection Bar was not responding.

 Chat

  1. Sending chat messages to staff were not delivering. Chat is now working fine for all user-roles.
  2. Validation message on successfully sending a chat message has been corrected for all grammatical errors.

 Report Center

  1. Negative amount was appearing in Aging report.
  2. No data was appearing in the Billing Projection report.
  3. Billing Rates report was not displaying data for a few user accounts. Report is now displaying correct data.
  4. Declined/Settled Payments report was not displaying correct data.
  5. Advanced filtering was not responding on Account Statement report.
  6. Few payers were not appearing in the Account Statement report.
  7. Few children were appearing with incorrect P/C name in the Sign-in Sheet.

 Settings

  1. Settings page was not responding for a few users.
  2. Deleted Rooms were appearing on Step-2 even after deleting them.


Parent Role

 Enhancements:

  1. No major enhancements.

 Bug Fixes:

  1. Chat feature was not working for parent account. Chatting is now working fine.


Teacher Role

 Enhancements:

  1. No major enhancements.


 Bug Fixes:

  1. Staff were able to see children from another P/Cs they were not enrolled in. 
  2. Staff were not able to access the iCare Lobby using their LPs.


iCare Lobby

 Enhancements

  1. Program/Class column has been added in the Lobby. When parents log in to the Lobby, a default P/C appears in the Attendance row.

 Bug Fixes

  1. Lobby Passwords were not encrypted in a correct format and thus, few users were not able to access the iCare Lobby. Issues has been resolved.
  2. LP field on Step-7 of Settings was accepting upper-case letters also. Now, the LPs are restricted to lower-case only.
  3. Program/Class column in the Lobby Interface was not showing children’s default P/C they were enrolled in. Now, a default P/C appears in the attendance row every time parents log in.
