On the contact card it says enter your password or swipe your card. How does the swipe work? is there a piece of hardware we need for this function? If so we would like to purchase it. AIso, is there a was to print only the main contact cards?

SWIPE CARD READERS
To use the swipe function, you may have to buy a scanner from an external source such as, BestBuy. Make sure it is compatible with the devices (Desktop/Android/Tablet) you use for the application purpose. Soon, we are going to provide you with a list of compatible scanners also.
Contact Cards can be preprinted from a printing press. And the scanner type can be any of the following;
- Barcode
- QR Code, or
- Chip cards.
NOTE: The only requirement of using the card is that it must fit the Lobby Password (LP) Requirements.
Lobby Password Requirement
- LPs can be numbers, characters or combination of both.
- Scanner type must be compatible with the password requirement. Any of the above-mentioned scanner types can be used.
- For example, a barcode card will have a unique code on it. Admin will set this code as LP of the user (parent or staff) it is being issued to.
- And, when the user swipes or scans the card, unique code will be inserted in to the Password field and they will log in successfully without actually entering the LP.
