Release Note : Version – 1.9.8

Note: Is Admin flag on Staff Profile page and Email address change feature for Admin as a staff are under development and being analyzed for stability. Stay tuned for updates.


Admin Role

Enhancements:

  1. My Account module has been modified. Now, you may edit or modify your account subscription plan with new design and better functionality using the My Account page.

  2. Edit and delete functions have been added for User-defined Fields (UDFs) and Immunizations. You may edit or remove the values in the UDFs and dates in the Immunization fields.

  3. iCare Ding feature has been introduced, which sends push notifications to parents’ phones when a teacher tags that parent’s child on a journal entry or photo.

  4. Charge Invoice has been introduced in this update. It is an optional feature that can be turned ON/OFF from Step-6 on Settings page. If ON, parents will receive an email notification for every charge with the charge receipt that is posted for their children with a copy to the center admin.

  5. Prorated option on Step-6 of Settings page has been introduced. In case, you charge full amount irrespective of the number of days attended by the child, choose Full-amount option.

  6. Adding Secondary Contacts is a lot easier now. Now, only First Name, Last Name, Relationship and Lobby Password are the mandatory fields to add secondary contacts.

  7. Not-specified option has been added in the Mobile Carrier field on Child/Staff profile. If the Carrier is Not-specified, no communications can be established with iCare for the provided Mobile Number.

Bug Fixes:

General

  1. Payer Name in Billing Grid entries is now editable. You may edit Payer Name for billing entries that have not been charged yet.

  2. Forgot password feature was not responding correctly. Link from the email was navigating to the website but the reset password pop-up was not appearing. Passwords are resetting fine now.

  3. Setting up connection with Transfirst (Hosted Payment Gateway) was giving an unexpected error.

  4. Center Capacity Full message was appearing for ongoing subscriptions also. This issue has been resolved with the My Account module enhancement.

  5. Unnecessary validations for changing Room capacity have been removed.

Children

  1. Family Balance was not displaying the correct amount. Now, sum of the balance of all payers of the child appear in the Family Balance field.

  2. Updating Contact details on Child Profile page was not saving the information.

  3. An unexpected error was appearing on removing contacts from Child Profile page.

Staff

  1. Is Admin flag for staffs was not changing their status. Now, the flag is responding fine.

Programs/Classes

  1. Few children moved from one Program/Class (PCs) to another automatically. This issue has been resolved and original PCs for the children have been restored.

  2. Enrolling children in Programs and Classes was giving unexpected errors. Enrollment process is now working fine.

  3. Navigating to Program/Class details page using scroll buttons was not updating the PC info summary.

Attendance

  1. An unexpected error was occurring while checking in children with Not-specified Program/Class.

  2. Program/Class was not updating for a few attendance entries.

  3. Updating saved attendance entries was giving an unexpected error.

Accounting

  1. Navigating to Child Profile page form Balances page for payers with $0 balance was navigating to an error page.

  2. Few users were not able to make payments due to navigation issues on the Hosted Payment Gateway.

  3. Cash payments were not processing for a few user accounts.

  4. Payments were not processing for a few accounts.

Journal

  1. Journal module was not working with correct functionality on tablet devices.  

Chat

  1. Navigating to Chat when no children or staff were added in the application was giving an unexpected error.

Report Center

  1. Account Statement report – address in print preview was appearing in a single line. Now, the address appears in the three lines and is compatible with window envelopes

Settings

  1. Change Logo feature on Step-1 was not uploading the images properly.


Parent Role

Enhancements:

  1. Privacy Policy options have been introduced for Main Contacts. Main Contacts can decide whether to share their parent-teacher communication data with secondary contacts or not.

Bug Fixes:

  1. Navigating to Chat from left navigation bar was giving an unexpected error.

  2. Wrong children were appearing on Children page for a few parent accounts.

  3. Wrong contacts were appearing on Child Profile of a few children.

  4. Uploading profile pictures using camera feature was not working on Chrome. It is now compatible with Chrome also.


Teacher Role

Enhancements:

  1. No major enhancements.

Bug Fixes:

  1. Family Balance was appearing on Child Profile page of all children. Family Balance field is now removed for teacher login. Only Admin and parents can see the Family Balance on Child Profile page.

  2. Children in the same Room as of the staff were not appearing on Children page.


iCare Lobby

Enhancements:

  1. Add Child form for registering children has been introduced in iCare Lobby.

  2. Auto-open feature has been introduced in iCare Lobby. Now, the Lobby will open automatically in case the session closes due to any reason. Until the MAC Address of the device remains same, the Lobby will keep opening on the same device again and again.

Bug Fixes:

  1. Background images were not changing for iCare Lobby on Android devices.

  2. Wrong children were appearing for a few parent logins in iCare Lobby.

  3. Logging into the Lobby without entering a valid signature is not possible now.
