We need a few attendance and billing trends; for example, average children attended, average revenue per child, etc.
These querries were received from Brock. Custom reports/queries for these can be added but here are methods for getting these answers from the report making tools currently available - right-click math function and smart search.
Average children over a date range: Open Attendance Report > From Period Selection Dropdown select the date range. Divide the count of rows by the number of working days in the date range - that is the average.
Children's visits per day (total for the center, kids under 2, kids 2 and up, staff kids *free childcare): Assuming your rooms or programs are based on age and staff kids, here is the solution. Open Attendance Report for the needed date. Right-click one the name of a room, and select count. Repeat for other rooms or programs.
Children's hours per day (total for the center, kids under 2, kids 2 and up, staff kids *free childcare): Similar to the above. Type name of room or program in the Search Textbox. Children of that room or program will be left in the report. Right-click on cell in the Hours column and select Sum.
Children per hour: Similar to above. Find total hours and divide it by the number of children in that period.
Revenue per children per hour: From the Transactions Report find total revenue. Divide it by Children per Hour.
